Yesterday, Karlaftis earned some nods when the all-B1G defense and special teams were announced. Today, a few other Boilermakers earned awards when the offensive awards were announced.
First, Brycen Hopkins was named the Big Ten Kwalick-Clark Tight End of the Year:
While it was a rough season for Purdue, Hopkins was a steady force this season on the offensive side of the ball, and he easily led all Big Ten tight ends with 7 touchdowns, 830 yards, and averaged 13.6 yards per catch. In terms of receiving yards, Hopkins was 7th in the Big Ten.
