Last year Darrell Hazell barely used him.
Now he is the Big Ten player of the Week.
On Saturday senior receiver Anthony Mahoungou had a car4eer day. He finished the game with 7 receptions for 135 yards and two scores. Most of that was done early in the third quarter when Purdue threw his way six times in seven plays. the result was 5 receptions, a drawn pass interference, more than 100 yards, and a pair of touchdowns.
If Purdue makes a bowl game it will be because of this stretch of play where Mahoungou was dominant.
