Five Big Ten football teams put out their best efforts (or at least that was supposed to be the case) this past weekend in annual spring games. Illinois, Indiana, Ohio State, Penn State and Purdue all took to their respective home fields in hopes of showcasing some impressive talent in front of hardy crowds.
That meant a lot of game action to sift through and the near impossible task of keeping up with all five games at the same time.
Still, spring games can be very revealing — if for nothing more than to allow fans to be optimistic about the upcoming season at the very least.
