The IHSAA State Tournament is back. It has been a very strange year as I have not attended a single high school game when I normally hit at least 25. I haven’t been able to see Caleb Furst, Foster Loyer, or Trey Kaufman in person to scout them, either. It’s been frustrating and it doesn’t feel like Tourney Time, but it is. Tonight the sectionals got underway and my beloved Wildkats, in the midst of a dreadful 6-16 year, got a sectional win by avenging a regular season loss to Logansport.
