This year’s Indiana High School Basketball State Tournament has a lot of interest for Purdue fans. There are three in-state commitments playing and all three are among the favorites to win the state title in their respective classes:
- Fletcher Loyer has Homestead ranked No. 1 in Class 4A and perfect at 22-0 headed into the tournament. Class 4A is the state’s toughest class, however, with a ton of good teams.
- Trey Kaufman won the Class 3A title in 2019 and his team was one of the favorites in the last 16 last year before COVID shut down the tournament.
