Grab your pens and paper, kids. It is time to get some homework done. The 2020-21 men’s basketball season was, for the most part, a surprise. Purdue exceeded expectations. instead of just making the tournament it won 13 Big Ten games and received a top 4 seed to March Madness. The ending with a pair of overtime losses put a damper on things, but overall It was the building year I expected. We set the table for what can be a great 2-3 year run as all the major pieces can return not just for 2021-22, but beyond since Purdue had no seniors and everyone can get the free COVID year.
