It has been a long time since the season started in early November, but for the 31st time ever and fifth straight season Purdue is in the NCAA Tournament. Purdue will be traveling to Hartford, Connecticut to face Old Dominion as the 3 Seed in the South Region.
Purdue is coming off of its record 24th Big Ten regular season championship and has made hte Sweet 16 in consecutive years. As we know, however, we haven’t gone beyond the Sweet 16 since 2000 and haven’t made a Final Four since 1980.
We’ll have more this week analyzing our opponent and our region, but it nice to have a protected seed.
