It’s been 39 years since Purdue has been to a Final Four. It has been 19 years since we have been to an Elite 8. We have to break through sometime, right? Why not now?
The Boilers have exceeded expectations this year with a Big Ten regular season championship and now it gets a favorable seed to reach a third straight Sweet 16. Purdue will open with Old Dominion, the Conference USA Tournament Champion. Int he second round we will either get a solid St. Mary’s team or the defending National Champions in Villanova, a team that has more experience than just about anyone else in the country.
