It has been a while since Purdue grabbed a recruit, but with the games actually starting and a fun home atmosphere Friday night the program was able to get a few guys on campus. one of them even committed today. Evander Craft, a junior college linebacker from The College of DuPage in Illinois committed this afternoon as the 22nd member of the 2018 class:
The lure of immediate playing time was likely a consideration for Craft. Garrett Hudson, Ja’Whaun Bentley, Danny Ezechukwu, and T.J. McCollum are four of Purdue’s top 5 linebackers and all will be gone after this season.
