Not all was lost today. Yes, Purdue had a bad day in our nation’s capital, but Aaron Wheeler, the versatile wing found by coach Painter, led his team to a National Prep School Championship. Brewster Academy capped a perfect 33-0 seaosn with a 72-71 win over Northfield Mount Hermon.
Wheeler didn’t just have a good game, either. He had 22 points in the title game and was named the tournament MVP:
