The annual rite of passage that is Big Ten Football Media Days starts today in Chicago. this is the event that is often a big deal, but not really. It is hyped as the official kickoff to the season and it is the first real sign that football is just around the corner. That said, very little substance comes from it. it is all canned questions and quotes, especially when I am not there to ask odd questions.
Last year I created phrases to use on a bingo card and they still apply:
