2016 Purdue Football Recruiting: Christopher Parker Commits

To say Purdue had zero recruiting momentum is an understatement. The Boilers had not had a commitment since July 9th, and in that time at least three players have moved elsewhere, dropping the class to a paltry seven players. Well, at least one new player is coming on board, as Christopher Parker, a safety from Mount San Jacinto Community College in San Jacinto, California, joined the 2016 recruiting class.

Parker will graduate this spring and come to Purdue with two years of eligibility. I find it interesting that Purdue went after a safety when both Leroy Clark and Brandon Roberts return next season, but I guess when you're 2-9 you need help everywhere.
