It is no secret that Purdue needs a pass rush. For the past two seasons the team lead in sacks has been four. This year it was Evan Panfil and Antoine Miles who each had four sacks, and both split time and had limited effectiveness in other areas.
So, Purdue is turning, once again, to the JuCo ranks. Austin Larkin, a 2-star pickup from City College of San Francisco, the same school that gave us two-year starter David Hedelin, commited to Purdue today. He is a mid-year enrollee and can sign his LOI today even, so consider him locked in.
