Purdue will waste little time in getting a major test, as the defending National Champions visit in mid-November.
It looks like we have a date for the home game against Villanova in the 2016 Gavitt Games. The defending national Champion Wildcats will come to West Lafayette on Tuesday, November 15:

This makes for a very crowded early season schedule. Purdue opens four days earlier against Southern Illinois-Edwardsville and a week after this game it will be in Cancun for two games against Utah State, Auburn, and Texas Tech.
