Kam Chatman instantly became a hero for Michigan and may have shot the Wolverines into the tournament. Down 66-61 with 2 minutes left, the Wolverines closed the game on an 11-3 run and won thanks to a tying 3-pointer from Duncan Robinson with three seconds left and a game-winner from Chatman at the buzzer. Officials ruled that Indiana had two tenths of a second left to somehow get off a tying three, but they were unable to do so. The win likely punches Michigan's ticket to the NCAA Tournament, as they were in desperate need of a big win in Indianapolis and a good run.
