Providence trailed Holy Cross by nine points with with under 17 minutes remaining in the second half, but two critical adjustments by Ed Cooley helped turn the deficit into a nine point victory on Tuesday night.
Cooley knows he has to shorten what had been a lengthy rotation in the first two games of the 2018-19 season. The challenge in the first half against Holy Cross was finding players who were differentiating themselves.
