It's time for a little good news for Providence College basketball fans.
The Friars may be slumping badly but the coaching staff received some badly-needed positive word on the recruiting front Friday when Virginia center Dajour Dickens verbally committed to PC. Dickens is a 2017 recruit who won't be available to enroll at PC until the 2017-18 season.
"I've decided to attend Providence College," Dickens wrote on Twitter. "My family and I have chosen the right fit and people! From this point on, I'll be answering no requests about recruiting as I am putting my focus on the rest of this academic year and looking forward to a great developing summer and senior year!
