Tyree Chambers, a little-used sophomore guard from Germany, has decided to leave the Providence College basketball program.
Chambers is the second Friar to move on in just a few days. Freshman big man Quadree Smith left the program two days ago. Chambers scored two points in 14 career games.
“We appreciate Tyree’s efforts over the last two years,” Providence head coach Ed Cooley said in a statement issued by the school. “He has been an excellent teammate and a first-class individual during his time at Providence.
