PROVIDENCE – While the names and the seasons may change, there is a steady consistency about Villanova basketball that keeps it rolling through the Big East Conference.
The Wildcats come to the Dunkin’ Donuts Center for their annual visit Saturday afternoon and while program sales could be brisk, it will only take a few minutes for Providence College fans to see that the newer faces at Villanova look startlingly like some old ones. The Wildcats (15-3, 5-1) have no seniors and lean heavily on two freshmen but Jay Wright’s group has won 11 of its last 12 games, reside in the Top 10 of the polls and is looking at another sweet seed in the NCAA Tournament .
