Seton Hall 70, PC 52: Free-falling Friars fall short again

Providence's Drew Edwards, left, and Seton Hall's Rashed Anthony grab for the ball ...
NEWARK, N.J. – The Providence Friars’ February swoon hit its nadir Thursday night at the Prudential Center. At least PC’s fans had better hope so.
With Kris Dunn in a funk, the team’s offense in the pits and Ben Bentil getting ejected after sparking a late rally, the Friars were over-matched by the surging Seton Hall Pirates, 70-52. The loss is PC’s fifth in the last six games and send the team under .500 (7-8) in the Big East and to 19-9 overall.
