Max Willman isn’t done with college hockey, even after graduating from Brown University.
With an Ivy League degree in his pocket, Willman will move on to play as a graduate student at Boston University in 2018-19.
The 23-year-old left winger is eligible to play one more season because he skated in only 9 games during his senior year last winter, missing the final 21 games after a knee injury at Union on Dec. 1.
Ivy League rules make medical redshirts unrealistic for hockey players, so Willman is on to BU after receiving his diploma from Brown, where his concentration was in business, entrepreneurship and organizations.
