PROVIDENCE — Emmitt Holt knows the question that’s been on the lips of Providence College Friars fans for months now.
He hears it, as does coach Ed Cooley and anyone else who’s closely associated with the Friar basketball program. On Monday, the tables were turned on the fifth-year senior who missed all of last season after abdominal surgery. So, just how much is Emmitt Holt going to be able to help in the 2018-19 season?
“I think he’s going to be pretty good,” Holt said with a smile. “I think he’s going to be pretty good.”
Just hearing the 22-year old Holt string those words together is a comforting sound.
