PROVIDENCE – Almost every time I had a chance to bump into Rob McClanaghan over the last 15 years or so, all I could do was shake my head.
We’d be at some gym or big arena and the kid from Cranston would name drop better than Dick Vitale. He’d just spent time in a gym working out Kevin Garnett, helping Derrick Rose run a summer camp or flying to Europe with Kevin Durant.
Really? Really.
McClanaghan’s rise to the very top of the basketball training world is a great story and now it’s the subject of a book, Net Work, that he’s authored.
