Providence sophomore forward Ben Bentil told ESPN he will remain in the NBA draft.
The 6-foot-9 Bentil, who averaged 21.7 points and 7.7 rebounds per game this past season and was one of the nation's most improved players, had until Wednesday -- the deadline for college players who declared for the NBA draft -- to make a decision.
"I think it's the best decision for me and my family," Bentil told ESPN. "I know I'm ready for the next chapter in my life."
Providence also lost standout point guard Kris Dunn -- who is expected to go in the lottery -- early.
