PROVIDENCE --- Providence College’s trip south for Thanksgiving will come off its first back-to-back wins of the season.

The Friars made easy work of St. Francis Brooklyn, 64-48, in Monday night’s second game of the Emerald Coast Classic at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center. The tournament proper begins Friday when Providence matches up with Memphis and picks up more speed Saturday with a serious test against either Iowa or Virginia.

Rodney Bullock closed with a game-high 19 points and 12 rebounds – his first double-double of the season and the ninth of his Friars career. Freshman forward Kalif Young celebrated his first college start by chipping in 18 points as Providence overwhelmed the Terriers from the early stages.
