Those time-honored March words are ones to live by at Providence College after the Friars’ stunning 70-69 win over Southern California Thursday night at PNC Arena. The Friars trailed for the final 13 minutes until Rodney Bullock slipped a screen on an inbounds play with two seconds on the clock and hit a go-ahead layup that shocked the Trojans and sent PC’s fans into a tizzy.
The victory is Providence’s first in the NCAA Tournament in 19 years and sets up a game against top-seeded North Carolina on Saturday at 9:50 p.
