PC's recent play has Cooley concerned

INDIANAPOLIS - Ed Cooley stood outside the huddle with his hands on his hips, his eyes gazing at the roaring Cintas Center crowd.

The timeout called by the Providence College coach midway through the second half of Wednesday night's 82-56 loss to Xavier came after the Musketeers' third consecutive 3-pointer. The Friars were searching for answers while facing their first real adversity of the season.

With Sunday's matchup at No. 13 Butler, the Friars are looking at possibly their first three-game losing streak since the 2014-15 season. Butler will provide another road test for a Providence team that has hit some jarring potholes away from the Dunkin' Donuts Center.
