MILWAUKEE – After fighting through nearly a decade of recruiting cycles as the coach at Providence College, Ed Cooley knows what works and what doesn’t. He also appreciates the challenge of winning big in the Big East.
While preparing for Tuesday's Big East game against Marquette, Cooley and his staff secured a second commitment in the Class of 2020 when forward Jyare Davis of Hockessin, Del., decided to become a Friar. Davis visited PC in late November and said he came away wide-eyed.
“I got there not knowing what to expect,” Davis said, “but there was an overwhelming sense of family.
