NEW YORK – Even after a season that unfolded with a few bumps along the way, Kris Dunn is the repeat winner of the Big East’s Player of the Year Award.
Dunn received his second Player of the Year trophy Wednesday afternoon at Madison Square Garden. Last season he shared the award with Villanova’s Ryan Arcidiacono. This year Dunn is the lone winner, which is determined by voting from the conference’s 10 head coaches.
The conference does not reveal the results of the voting but several other players no doubt contended for the award.
