PC's Cooley says program has moved on from Kris Dunn, looking ahead to new era

PROVIDENCE – It’s perfectly understandable if many Providence College basketball fans haven’t quite moved on from Kris Dunn.

The All-American point guard lit up the Dunkin’ Donuts Center for the last two seasons and led the Friars to back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances and a nearly season-long stay in the national Top 25 polls. PC fans are slowly realizing players like Dunn – the fifth pick in the NBA Draft – are once in a generation type performers.

Ed Cooley and his current group of Friars have moved on, the coach said as practice for the upcoming season began earlier this week.
