NEWTON, Mass. - Ed Cooley recalls the sight of a little too much black and white for his own liking several years ago when he sat alongside Al Skinner on the bench at Boston College.
The Eagles were good in those days, very good in fact. BC went to the NCAA Tournament five times in Cooley's nine years at The Heights. But during Providence's yearly visit he'd shake his head at the sight of many familiar faces from his hometown.
"I remember when I was on the (BC) bench and I truthfully would be really upset when the Friar faithful would be at Conte Forum," Cooley said.
