PROVIDENCE — There’s a culture change going on in Providence and what’s happening at Alumni Hall Thursday night only proves it.
Three years ago Jim Crowley took over as head coach of the Providence College women’s basketball team determined to get things turned around. The Friars won 25 games the previous four seasons, but in Crowley’s first two season they won 22.
This season, PC went 17-15, tied for sixth in the Big East, and are making a triumphant return to the postseason for the first time since the 2009-10 season.
