SOUTH KINGSTOWN — After all the buildup, the sky-high ticket prices and the nervous energy that filled the arena, PC and URI will take a deep breath and resume their respective seasons.
Providence College coach Ed Cooley says the Friars will move on from their first loss to URI since 2009 by simply focusing on beating Brown and UMass this week. He says turning the page after a tough road loss is the mark of a poised team.
“It’s two high-level teams that have great expectations,” Cooley said. “I think it’s a good game. Is it a game that I look forward to?
