PC rallies late to nip Creighton 50-48 on Kris Dunn buzzer-beater

OMAHA - After playing their worst game as a team and his worst game of the season, Kris Dunn saved the night Tuesday at CenturyLink Center.

Dunn hit a 16-footer that thudded on the back rim and fell in at the buzzer to give the Friars an improbable 50-48 win over Creighton. PC improves to 14-2 and 3-1 in the Big East.

The Friars shot 18 percent in the first half but never trailed by more than 12 points. PC was still down by eight with nine minutes to go but finally found its groove on offense to eak out a win.
