The Providence College men’s soccer team will host Delaware Thursday night at 7 in the NCAA Division I soccer tournament.
The winner will move on to face top-ranked Maryland at Maryland on Sunday.
The No. 22-ranked Friars (12-6) earned an at-large selection to the 2016 NCAA Tournament. PC is making its ninth appearance all-time in the NCAA Tournament, and third under the direction of fifth-year coach Craig Stewart. PC won its first Big East regular-season title after going 7-2 in conference play.
Thursday's match between Providence and Delaware will mark the first meeting between the two programs.
