PROVIDENCE — After practices and workouts that began back in June, a four-game trip to Italy in August and the christening of their Ruane Friar Development Center in September, it’s time the Providence College Friars hit the court.
They say they’re as ready as they’re ever going to be.
“I definitely feel we’re ready to play,” said coach Ed Cooley. “We’re on practice 25 by the book but we’re probably on practice 45 with respect to the amount of time we’ve been together in the summer, the games overseas. It’s time to play and we’re excited about it.
