The Providence College men’s basketball team defeated the Varese All-Stars, 113-46, on Thursday in Vedano Olona, Italy.
The Friars were led by senior Isaiah Jackson, who had 18 points and six rebounds on 5 of 9 shooting, including three 3-pointers. Kalif Young had a team-high 12 rebounds to go with 11 points and Nate Watson added 15 points nine boards.
Freshmen AJ Reeves and Providence resident David Duke contributed 16 and 14 points, respectively.
The Friars will play their second of four games in Italy on Saturday against the Adriatic Sea Dragons in Fossombrone at 2 p.
