PROVIDENCE –
The Providence Friars will travel far and wide in search of quality opponents next season.
PC announced its non-league schedule Thursday and it is stocked with some of the bigger names in college sports. The Friars will host the Texas Longhorns in its prime Dunkin’ Donuts Center contest, face the Florida Gators in New York City and perhaps bump into the Arizona Wildcats at the Wooden legacy in California.
Those are the highest profile tests on the 13-game schedule. The Big East portion of the slate is released later this summer.
The Friars open the season on Nov.
