AMHERST, Mass. – After cracking the top 10 for the first time in 38 years earlier in the day, the Providence Friars put a whooping on the Massachusetts Minutemen Monday night at the Mullins Center.
With Kris Dunn back and orchestrating the show, the Friars dominated from the opening tip and ran past UMass, 90-66. PC sprinted out to a 14-5 lead, pushed the lead to double figures for good at the 9:52 mark and led by as many as 25 points.
