PC Friar health update; Friars beat up for Saturday's Bryant game

  • PROVIDENCE – The word from the Providence MASH unit is not exactly good.
    The Friars had only 10 healthy bodies for a light practice Thursday and coach Ed Cooley said he isn’t sure who he’ll be able to suit up for Saturday’s game against Bryant at the Dunkin' Donuts Center.
    Cooley said he’s still awaiting word on the severity of an ankle injury to forward Ben Bentil. Kris Dunn hasn’t left his dorm room due to a stomach ailment and freshman Ryan Fazekas has a confirmed case of mononucleosis that will keep him sidelined for an undetermined period of time.
