PC-Brown Journal: Friars' fast start puts Bears in an early hole

PROVIDENCE - The Friars set a new standard for how to begin a game Tuesday night.

After watching Brown's Brandon Anderson knock in a 3-point shot to open the scoring, the Friars put together a 20-0 blitz that took the Bears completely out of the game. PC went on to a 50-18 halftime lead and breezed to a 95-57 victory.

Even coming off last Saturday's win over Rhode Island, coach Ed Cooley said he wasn't concerned about his team's focus. That hasn't been an issue this season and certainly wasn't a factor against the Bears.
