PC beats Rider without Kris Dunn, 73-65
PROVIDENCE – After playing two games with Kris Dunn watching from the bench, the good news is other Providence Friars are gaining a load of valuable experience. The bad news is this is not part of Ed Cooley’s master plan.
Dunn missed his second straight game with a stomach virus Saturday but the 14th ranked Friars still had enough to outlast Rider, 73-65. Three Friars carried the load in Dunn’s absence as Ben Bentil went for 19 points and 12 rebounds, Jalen Lindsey finished with 13 points and a career-best 13 boards and Rodney Bullock added 16 points and 11 rebounds.
