Classes ended at PC on Friday and soon after the basketball team boarded a bus for Amherst in advance of Saturday’s game against the Massachusetts Minutemen. Just who can step on the floor for that game is unclear, however.
PC coach Ed Cooley said that while neither Alpha Diallo (ankle) nor Maliek White (leg) suffered major damage when they went down with injuries in an overtime win against Brown on Wednesday, both are questionable to play against UMass. He’s hoping point guard Kyron Cartwright (ankle) can suit up “but I won’t know that until we get to the game, really.
