PC all over Brown, rolls to 95-57 win

PROVIDENCE - No one has to tell the Brown Bears how suffocating the Providence Friar defense can be this season.

The Friars entered Tuesday night's annual matchup with their friends from the East Side as the sixth-best defensive outfit in the country and looked very much the part as they raced to an easy 95-57 victory at the Dunkin' Donuts Center.

The Friars (7-2) scored 20 unanswered points early on to grab a 20-3 lead and never looked back. Emmitt Holt made his first nine shots and led PC with 20 points on 9-of-10 shooting. Rodney Bullock continued his strong season with 16 points and Jalen Lindsey swished four of PC's 14 3-pointers on his way to 16 points.
