NEW YORK – The Providence Friars’ Big East Tournament dress rehearsal unfolded perfectly Saturday afternoon at Madison Square Garden.
The Friars took advantage of a trip to the Big East’s home wrap up the regular season with a 90-76 win over St. John’s. Thanks to a breakout shooting effort in the first half by Jalen Lindsey, the Friars ran out to a 33-16 lead, led by 23 points at the half and didn’t let the lead slip below 13 points in the second half.
