PROVIDENCE – It was a lesson learned.
Sunday wasn’t a perfect performance for the Providence men’s basketball team, but it was clear after giving up a 20-point lead in a loss to Massachusetts nine days earlier, there was no way that was going to happen again.
Playing their first game without talented freshman A.J. Reeves, the Friars played well. PC playing well wasn’t going to bode well for Central Connecticut State because when it came to talent, most was on Providence’s side and that talent did more right than wrong in a 87-63 win over the Blue Devils.
