With opening night less than a week away, coach’s feelings flip-flop by the minute. They jump between being excited, worried, exasperated and eager. The truth, of course, lies somewhere in between.
Providence College’s Ed Cooley doesn’t know where he falls on that spectrum right now. After watching his team do the expected and overwhelm Division III Baruch College, 87-53, on Saturday before a crowd of 3,855, Cooley said he’ll welcome the next few days of practice before PC opens up against Houston Baptist on Friday.
