UNCASVILLE, Conn. – Now that was a very impressive, and welcome, comeback win.
The Providence Friars notched their second straight come-from-behind victory Saturday with a stirring second half victory over South Carolina, xx-xx, in the Hall of Fame Tip Off at Mohegan Sun Arena.
The Friars, who trailed by nine points with 15:35 left, will face Michigan in the championship game Sunday at 1:30. The game will be televised on ESPN.
Freshman David Duke sparked the comeback with his best game yet. Duke poured in 20 points and was dominant off the dribble. Alpha Diallo continued his strong play with 17 points and 9 rebounds.
