PROVIDENCE – Win your home games.

This is one of Ed Cooley's basketball commandments and his Providence Friars have reversed course of late and done just that. The latest victory came Wednesday at the Dunkin' Donuts Center as the Friars put together a sterling second half and rolled to a 75-63 victory over Xavier before a rowdy crowd of 10,102.

The win is PC's second straight at home and improves the team's record to 16-11 overall and 6-8 in the Big East. Kyron Cartwright played one of his best games of the season with 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
