PROVIDENCE — Grinding through January, you want every game to go the way you hoped.
But since winning and winning pretty are the same thing in the standings, the Providence College men’s basketball team will deal with what happened Sunday.
There was some good, there was some bad and there was a lot in between. The Friars did what they had to do to get a lead, dodged a few bullets down the stretch and walked out of the Dunkin Donuts Center with a 70-67 win over DePaul helps them in the standings and let’s them know there’s plenty of work to be done.
